Recently, UpSource were contacted by Gordon from GNE Consultancy. GNE Consultancy Ltd are a Management Consultancy & Training company that specialises in providing a motivational and inspirational approach to learning and development.

Gordon contacted us when his computer would not start up. When he pushed the power button, the light came on but the machine did not power up. ‘There’s nothing on the screen and the tower is making a bleeping noise,’ he told us.

We suspected it was almost certainly a hardware problem, so we arrange a good time with Gordon the following morning to open the machine up and have a look at the internal components. A quick inspection showed that the graphics card was damaged and required replacement. A short return trip to a local computer shop later, we were able to install a new graphics card in the machine and get him back up and running again.
